The decision to conduct a virtual AGM aligns with current best practices and guidelines issued by the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE), ensuring shareholder engagement while prioritizing safety and accessibility. While the Chairman, Board of Directors, key officials, and the Company Secretary will convene in person at the Conference Room, Renuka City Hotel, Colombo 3, shareholders will participate remotely through an audio-visual digital platform.

Accessing the Annual Report 2025/2026

In adherence to CSE regulations, the Annual Report for the financial year 2025/26 is now available to shareholders electronically. It can be accessed through two primary channels:

  • The Colombo Stock Exchange website: www.cse.lk (via Company Search)
  • Cargo Boat Development Company PLC’s corporate website: www.cbd.lk

Shareholders who prefer a physical copy of the Annual Report may request one by completing the ‘Form of Request’ provided in the circular. This form can be sent to the Head of Finance at 328, Galle Road, Colombo 3, or emailed to am@renukahotel.com. The company has committed to forwarding printed reports within eight market days from the date of receipt of the written request.

Shareholder Participation and Proxy Information

To facilitate online participation, shareholders are required to submit their details by completing the ‘Registration of Shareholder Details for Online Participation’ form. This form should be delivered or mailed to the Company Secretary at 328, Galle Road, Colombo 3, faxed to +94112574137, or emailed to am@renukahotel.com not less than five (5) days before the meeting date. Login information for the virtual meeting will be dispatched to the provided email addresses.

Shareholders unable to attend are encouraged to appoint a Director of the Company as their proxy, indicating their voting preferences on the Form of Proxy. Alternatively, any other individual can be appointed as a proxy, who will also participate virtually. The completed Form of Proxy must be deposited at the company’s Registered Office (328, Galle Road, Colombo 3) not later than forty-eight (48) hours before the appointed time for the meeting.

Withana, at 0112573598 during normal office hours (10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.). Queries related to agenda items should also be submitted at least five days prior to the meeting.
