Oversubscription Highlights Market Strength

The Debenture Issue, which aimed to raise up to LKR 12.5 billion by offering up to 125,000,000 Basel III compliant, Tier 2, listed, rated, unsecured, subordinated, redeemable 5-year (2026/2031) debentures, each with a par value of LKR 100/-, saw an overwhelming response from investors. The final tally far exceeded the maximum amount sought.

The significant demand indicates a healthy appetite among investors for stable, well-rated financial instruments, particularly those offered by established entities like DFCC Bank. The oversubscription underscores the bank’s strong market reputation and the trust placed in its long-term financial stability.
